where can I go to be a paid guest blogger of various academic topics?

Hello and Good Evening Everyone,

From a previously closed post, it is my understanding that I can be a hired guest blogger for another website without having my own blog.  With that point in mind, I am interested in any link or links of websites which hire guest bloggers.  My blogging interest will center around a variety of academic areas such as literature, mental and physical health, family and parenting issues, and so forth.

Any shared insights to my question will be greatly appreciated.

          Thank you

First you have to establish a reputation.  Can you cite any published papers. How well known are you in your fields of study?  No one will pay you $1 unless they can make $10 from your efforts.  Having your own blog and having a lot of quality articles will help.. Your user base/page views really don't mean much as much as your quality and writing style. Your style must be in line with the blog you want to become a guest submitter. Be wary of percentage of profits or other non direct payment options that may be offered to you. For every thousand of offers you will get only a small percentage will be viable.  You may also be locked into an exclusivity agreement.. There are publishing agents that do this work for you (for their 10% commission)

Hello and Good Afternoon David,

Thank you for your feedback to my question.  I certainly found all of your points to be valid and reasonable.

At the moment, I am brainstorming which is leading to a variety of ideas and projects which I envision to be useful at some point.  I have no idea where all of this will eventually lead.  It is my hope and belief that blogging and social media marketing will become a financially rewarding experience while enabling me to help others at the same time.

As always, I greatly appreciate your objectivity and candor when addressing this and other questions I had in the past.  It always means a lot to me.

            Have a great day : - )
