How to make a MDI child-form, on-top and circular on another child-form in vb6 for a specified time?

if I understand correctly, you want to nest a form inside a form using MDI?
MDI-Parent -> MDI Form -> MDI Form

I don't think you can do what you're after. if you want to interrupt the user for a few seconds, you could show a modal form on top of the MDI window which would block all input until it is closed. say by a timer?
