some one installed some windows updates by mistake in one of the windows 2008 server and uninstalled it.
but it is showing in the view installed update history as a pending for restart, but we cant reboot the server.
without rebooting the server is it any way to remove this view update history entry?

Why can you not restart the server in an off hour? Every server must be restarted to complete updates.

If the update is already pending, you MUST restart. There is no other way to get rid of it.
