Hi, I would like to get some input on core switch with least 16 SFP port HP switch. I am not sure if HPE FlexFabric or HP StorageWorks 8/24 Base SAN Switch. I can't tell the difference.  I don't need SAN network but it may helps for the futures. Any Recommendation?

Are you looking for a Ethernet switch or a Fiber Channel switch?

The HP StorageWorks 8/24 Base SAN  Switch is a SAN switch.  Which means it is mainly used for Fiber Channel, but seems to support a few 1 Gbps Ethernet ports.

The HPE FlexFabric is an Ethernet switch.

Use the HP switch selector tool...

I'd guess that you're after something like the HPE 5820AF-24XG.

It seems that  6200yl-24GMini-GBIC (J8992A) 24 Port Switch is perfect for what i need. I hope this is not too "old technology" switch. I have many procurve switch and I am happy with it and this will makes lot easier for easy use and pricing side. Thanks for your help.
