I have an iPhone SE (6s guts in a smaller form factor). Battery is good for all day.

The biggest factor in battery life for my old iPhone 4s was to set Fetch in all email to Manual. Only collect email when you want. By turning this off, the network card is not working overtime where it does not need to.

Go to Settings, General, and Reset and reset the Network Settings.

Now turn the phone OFF (Power right off), wait a minute and power on.

This should help your battery life.  You may also want to turn down the brightness but I do not.

I also charge fully at night, power off overnight every night, and start up the next day.

How many battery cycle clocks is your Apple iPhone 6?

The battery is degraded over time. My wild guess is that you have used for your iPhone 6 over 18 months.

It is time to replace the battery or the iPhone if it does not hold the charge.

Download the app below to check the actual runtimes of your iPhone 6. The iPhone battery can do about 500 full charge cycles (0 – 100%).

Go to Settings.
Battery
Observe battery usage over last 7 days.

What app are you using a lot?  Oftentimes I have noticed that the Home & Lock Screen uses a lot of battery power.  How can you stop this usage?

Whenever you're done using your iPhone, then you should get in the habit of 'locking' the screen by pressing the button on the top of the phone.  This will turn off the display until you need to get into the phone again.

AND

Go to Settings.
General.
Auto-Lock.
Set to 1 minute or less.
