checkBoxList checking last checkbox

I have a checkbox list on an App I inherited using a Bootstrap MasterPage

My checkbox list will not select each checkbox
It will only select the last item in the list no matter what I check.

I cannot change the bootstrap
How do I change this on the COntent page to the default action on a checkboxlist?

Where are your items in that list?
<asp:ListItem>Item 1</asp:ListItem>

Found my own solution... it is using the icheck api and was missing an import
