What Happened to My Subfolders in Outlook Gmail

Had no problems for may years.
My home email account on Windows 10 Pro.
All my Gmail archives, subfolders and of course their contents in Outlook 2013 are gone today.
Still in gmail webmail though.
No help at gmail support or help forum.
Repairing Microsoft Office tonight.

You may have to remake your Outlook Profile which, in turn, may mean downloading the mail again. If it comes to that, make a new PST file for the new Account. Back up the old one, allow mail to download and the import from the old one what you need. This is easier than creating many duplicates.

Are you using pop3 or IMAP ?

I did something stupid two days ago and  just remembered.  I was having an issue with moving emails after I read them and a post said to put "Inbox" in the Root path folder, so I did.
I just took that out and my subfolders are back.
root pathAll is good, thank John, you got me thinking what was different.

And just so everyone knows the post to put that in root path did not fix my problem with moving to subfolders, and Quick Repair did not fix Subfolder problem.  Thinking Thunderbird.
