Outlook 2016 eats F11

I have a program called Aastra Office Suite that is supposed to act on selected text when I hit F11. This worked before I updated to Outlook 2016. F11 works if Outlook is not the foreground application, so somehow Outlook swallows it. I've tried setting it to F10, too, but still the same. Any way to troubleshoot this?

Well, it was not answered.

It seems all F-keys in Outlook are taken. What key can I use then?
John

You cannot change the Outlook key assignments which is what we said. You have to change the other application not to conflict.

It seems no matter what key combination I try, nothing works inside outlook. If I hit the key combination outside outlook, it works fine.

I tried F8, F10 and Alt-F11

If I put a telephone number inside notepad and hit whatever combination I've set inside the Aastra client, it works perfect, but whenever I select something inside outlook, it doesn't respond. This worked perfectly, btw, in Outlook-2013 and 2010.

I've also setup another computer now and it seems to work; now I'm even more flabbergasted. Any idea how I can troubleshoot this?
