I use this command to send mail-tip to the sender of a distribution list in Exchange 2010:

Set-DistributionGroup -Identity "groupname" -MailTip "This distribution group will be decommissioned, please email to xxx@domain.com instead, thank for your cooperation."

How do I disable it?

Remove the mail tip? This should address it...

Set-DistributionGroup -Identity "groupname" -MailTip $null
