I did everything suggested but no improvement. &nbsp;I figured the next idea would be to create a new profile so I created a new profile. &nbsp;I'd not seen 365 work much before. &nbsp;It seemed to reconstitute everything and now the problem is gone without any more trouble than naming a new profile really.

A new profile did it. &nbsp;I believe the important mail account was IMAP so it all went very smoothly.

This is likely Office 360 Outlook.<br />
Drag and drop messages from folder to folder sometimes works and mostly doesn't.<br />
I read where pressing ESC, maybe more than once, would fix this. &nbsp;It didn't.<br />

I was able to drag a message from Inbox to an Inbox subfolder but not back again.<br />
Move or Cut and Paste are the only things that work and the user finds that too unwieldy.<br />

This is likely Office 360 Outlook.
Drag and drop messages from folder to folder sometimes works and mostly doesn't.
I read where pressing ESC, maybe more than once, would fix this.  It didn't.
