I have created office365  user for a client to allow access to subsite created for client, so they could review the documents and make changes. Although, sharepoint allows versioning but my boss also wants to receive email alert whenever client user account make changes to document to two internal users.  I only see option to enable alert whenever changes are made not specific to one or two users whose alert should be send to internal executive.

I found the fix from Microsoft. It is actually achieved using alert settings for a site using particular users login who is owner and editor of site and also RSS feed for enhancing it. The alert setup for document tracking does not actually need workflow design process
