Hi,

I am receiving this error message when using ec2-describe-regions.

Client.AuthFailure: AWS was not able to validate the provided access credentials
(Service: AmazonEC2; Status Code: 401; Error Code: AuthFailure; Request ID: 6c9
ca32f-1524-4ca2-bb4b-58e4a211747e)

I downloaded the keys from the account and used under environment variables to connect.

Thanks

That error is usually associated with invalid access keys.     Do any other commands work using those access keys?

It could also be related to the permissions of the user who has the Access Key attached. Make sure that it has admin access.
