I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. It is a tough question.

If you want to achieve your goals without using any third party application, it is not possible as Apple and Google handles the user data in a very different approach.

Apple wants user to use Apple devices only and wants its product to be center of everything.

Google wants its software product to integrate with every devices in the world provided that the manufacturer of the devices allow them to do so.

For example, you can sync Gmail in most devices including iDevices but Apple will only allow iCloud data to be displayed in other devices using Apple own software, but not having two way syncs like GMail.

So, it will just one way sync if you want to use iCloud data with other devices. iCloud is designed to sync with iDevices and only one way sync with non iDevices.

It is the security requirement from Apple and I notice that you are an experts in Apple software and products, you should be more knowledgeable than me.

Outlook is from Microsoft and its approach is different from Apple and Google also.

MS wants to be the leader in SaaS industries and if you use Outlook with Office 365 subscription and third party online services, it is very likely that in the very soon future, you can do what you want.

Apple can and will work with MS as MS is a shareholder of Apple, but Google is the competitors for both Apple and MS.

So, if your interests is on iCloud, forget about Google as you will end up in a mess if you want to integrate the data from all parties with iCloud.
