I have a samsung duos GT-S6102

When I take pictures I have no problem if i remove my battery to reboot I lose them all yet today on the 6/09/2016 I went to kmart because i had about 10 or less photos in my gallery of my brand new grandchild so I wanted to make them into photos so when i took out my sd card and put it in the photo machine it showed i had 138 photos yet there was only 10 in my gallery and if i have to do updates i cant because it tells me i have 2 much memory and cant update and when i put my sd card back in i have lost those 10 pics of my grandaughter how do i retrive these pics from the sd card and delete the ones i dont want very stressed out atm i only have 2gb sd card i thought when i deleted all the other pics it would empty obviously not ...........i need help .....plus i have even tried to download them onto my laptop through samsung kies with no luck same thing pics dissapeared
