Removing Gmail Contacts From Samsung Tab

Hi Experts,

I have removed a google account from my Samsung tab S (Android 6.0) and the contacts related to that gmail account still show there after the removing process and restart.
Now, I want to delete these contacts from my TAB ONLY WITHOUT DELETING IT FROM MY GMAIL ACCOUNT.
So, how to achieve that?

Thanks a lot in advance.

After you remove the  google account, there's NO WAY the Tab can synchronise anything with that account. Removing contacts will not remove it from Google. (IF you don't believe, just delete one unimportant contact, or one where you've written the info down, after a day, it's still not deleted from your Google account).
