Hi,

We have a form on our site for staff to use, but often when they try to open it, they receive the following error message:

Does anyone know why this would happen and how I fix it?

Thanks

This looks like some sort of DNS issue. I'd refer it to the infrastructure folks in your organization to see if they can fix it in DNS, or create an Alternative Access Mapping in SharePoint to fix it. This isn't an Infopath issue per se in my view.

The above comment is dot on it seems. This may be at the user level though, try to clear the DNS cache on the workstations and maybe the IE cache.

The reason I think it may be local and not global, as a DNS server issue would be, is because you say it happens often, but not always. If it does happen always, then yes, probably on the DNS server.

Good luck...

DNS pinpointed as likely cause at some scale
