I cannot find a way how to this with mysql workbench or sql yog.

As a starter, i don't see an ip but a dns which i couldn't use.

Please help.

Have you tried creating an SSH tunnel through SQLYog to the database?

Yes. Ok. I solved by creating another ec2 instance and used sqlyog in that instance instead of my local machine.

Good - for reference though you can run SQLYog over an SSH link. If you have the enterprise version in your connection settings there is the option to do port mapping over SSH. You connect with SSH (Putty or whatever) and you connect through that. Works seemlessly. I have never done it to an AWS instance but I will be shortly as we are starting a big AWS project this month.
