I'm running Adobe InDesign CS6 under Win7 Prof. Has worked well for a long time.
When trying to start the application now, I get an error message saying that Appframework.rpln plugin can not be loaded and that it requires version 8.1 of InDesign to work properly. Can't find anywhere to download this version, and I'm also wondering why this error shows up.

Have attached a screenshow of the error message.

Are you also using Creative Cloud? Adobe just did a big overhaul of all its CC assets a couple weeks ago. What happens when you uninstall and reinstall Adobe CSX? Do you get the same error?

No, I'm not using Creative Cloud (but may be forced to do it at some time..)  :-(

I may have soleved the problem myself - the hard way. Ended up by doing a complete un-install of Creative Suite 6 (and an old CS4 that - at one time was upgraded to CS6). Ran a cleanup utility from Adobe and also Microsoft's "Windows Install Cleanup" to get everythin cleaned up.

Tried to install CS6 again from the DVD, but it wouldn't regcognize my liecnse key. Double-checked it on a completely clean machine, and Adobe found that it was good.... ???
Then decided to install a trial version of CS6. During the install I was asked for the login info to my Adobe accound, and then the CS6 install seemed to go well. It seems to work as before now.
