Hi
When users at this client's site close Internet Explorer (9) they receive an error
and then a page opens up with the following heading "500 Internal Server Error" followed by lines of text
The users mostly access a website that uses Java
Is there a way to avoid/disable this error display ?

That won't be possible, sorry
You need to check the log files of this PMS system you speak of.
