HAMA vs. Microsoft SQL Database

Our company might make the switch to SAP soon. We want to build our own web application to handle billing and other aspects of our business.

I'm learning SQL right now  and I don't know HAMA. I was hoping you could lay out the pros and cons of HAMA vs. SQL.

Looks like we're going to use Microsoft SQL.

The email that the firm sent me ambiguously claimed HANA would provide extra features. Kind of misleading, the war is on, indeed.
