Only see this on Lenovo products as bad as it is in this case. With Dell have been able to do the online fixes "Windows Update Diagnostics" and "Windows6.1-KB3135445-x64"
. Thinkpad X230 in production for several years began seeing shutdown issues due to failed updates.
Formatted the drive, ran the image from Lenovo recovery, logged in first thing ran updates with the exact same error message, updates fail. Good news it wasn't stuck on rolling back changes although it did take about 30 minutes. Have not been able to install updates without them failing and reverting back. Any ideas of a fix, believe it's likely I need a new image from Lenovo however while discussing this with them would like to get the laptop back into production sooner / if possible.
