I need help on diagnosing an issue with voicemail for our client.

looks like it might very well be the phone,

Client uses SfB Server 2015 and hosted O365 UM.
They use Yealink t48g handsets with SfB firmware version 35.7.0.50 network cable daisy changed from phone to their laptops.
running Windows 2012R2

What seems to happen is :
>when the voicemail number is dialed from the handset or the SfB soft client, attachment “voicemail fail” is seen on the SfB logging tool and the image in the below email is seen on events on the front end,
>when the voicemail number is dialed from the soft client while the handset is signed out but still on, attachment “voicemail succeed” is captured on the logging tool.

every time the handset calls and fails en event log is captured, screenshot attached,

would appreciate the help

It sounds like a firewall issue. I have solved a similar problem recently by simply changing the mode of the firewall to "compatible" for the SIP handling. I have also had to open ports in the past.

this was actually in need of firmware, i updated to the latest available firmware and it did not work so good for. turns out i had a bad download for firmware, i downloaded another copy and phones are fine now.
