This is a Citrix Xen server (host) with version 6.0.0.xxx. My boss asks me take over the administration. The server is located at my office, but however, I connected this server with KVM, I saw the xen server menu. However, moving the cursor for selections always has to wait for a while with no response (I don't know why). Is there a better way to administer the server? sort of using "management console" or what?

Thanks first.

There a XenServer Console that you can install.  You can get it from the Citrix website or the XenServer itself.  Open a browser and navigate to http://<ipofxenserver>/ and you should see a XenCenter link.  I'd recommend going to the XenServer itself since the version will match the server.

Hi Brian,

I thought this is a standalone xenserver, however, it isn't. When I attempt to connect it using xencenter, a message popped up suggest to connect to the pool with pool master.

Thanks Brian to suggest to use xencenter to administer the xenserver, that's precisely the proper way.
