I have the USA Today app on my iPad; normally, it reloads regularly. It's stuck on yesterday.

How can I force it to restart?

Use the Power Button on the iPad, hold it down, force the iPad OFF. Wait one minute. Now start it up, let it fully start and try the App (USA Today) again.
