Wsus SUp question

Sorry stuck again

Set up

1x 2012r2. Wsus installed.  Internet connected.   All classifications.   Language English. Products windows 2012r2

Once synced.  
Do I select all.  And approve
Or
Untick the box in setting for update files. Meaning they will down load on there own ?

Once all the files have downloaded.  They are copied to USB.  And the wsutil export run

Wsus installed not configured

SUP role installed.  And the URL for wsus on same box used as source.


If I take a look in wsus console I see all the updates but all show as not down loaded

Updates also show up in SUP. But say files not downloaded

If I go in to wsus and untick download only files that have been approved.  The files start showing as downloaded to wsus

Wsus installed not configured
Sup installed

I see the updates in sup but they all show as not downloaded



Component status on all boxes is green

Is that wrong.  Should I see the files marked as downloaded in Sup

I have waited over 24 hours

Any pointers appreciated.  

Tech net guide followed.  But doesn't say what I should see.  Nor does it know I have wsus and sup on cas and primary's.
