Autorun CD Disc in Windows 10
Is it possible to turn off the AutoPlay feature in Windows 10 and utilize an autorun command on a CD that contains a PowerPoint slideshow? I added the following Autorun command to a CD with a PowerPoint slideshow entitled Cover_and_TOC_Page.pps.
[autorun]
shellexecute=Cover_and_TOC _Page.pps
Prior to upgrading to Windows 10, when the CD, with the Autorun command, was inserted and read, it would open the slideshow without me having to do anything. After upgrading to Windows 10, when the CD was inserted and read and AutoPlay is turned on, a dialogue box comes up asking me what I want to do with the CD and I have to click on one of the choices to activate the Autorun command. When the CD was inserted and read and AutoPlay is turned off, I hear the drive spinning, however, the Autorun command is not executed.
