NexGen Gallery in wordpress showing 'vertical thin white line' not the image

hi, got a website with a nexgen gallery on the photographs page.
the gallery has images that show a vertical white line, not the image we wanted.

wordpress version is : 4.6.1 (I think)
NexGen gallery v 1.82

the wordpress was upgraded a little bit back, but gallery seemed to work, its does seem to work now, but its just showing the white line, BUT some of the pictures show up properly? (so that makes me think the plugin is compatible with this latest version of wordpress?

Are you referring to the white line to the left of the girl in the red dress, first slide I think?
Would never had noticed if you didn't point it out. :)
That is the only line I see in Chrome. What browser are you viewing in?

hi pjam,
i m using latest chrome, and htis is what i see,and i saw it earlier, at work on a different computer/location...
i see the image in the thumbnails, but not the picture above the thumbnail row...

you know, when i looked this morning i saw the image above the thumbnail, a few of them, then when i scrolled the thumbnails to another pic, the line came back.../
