Hi,
please do a cutover migration.
https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Perform-a-cutover-migration-of-email-to-Office-365-9496e93c-1e59-41a8-9bb3-6e8df0cd81b4?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US

Delete all mail enabled contacts.
Delete all main-enabled security groups
Delete Discovery Search Mailbox (using right-click | remove method) which also deleted AD account
Remove 1 system arbitration mailbox
Other 2 had to be disabled
Deleted Mailbox database
Tried deleting Public Folders database.  Despite nothing in use, it said it had some replicas (I suspect from old 2003 migration).  I ended up dismounting, moving all database and log files, re-mounting and letting it create a clean empty public folders, then removed it no problem at all
Uninstalled Mailbox server
Uninstalled CAS server (final Exchange box!)

Please check this for details

It has been reported that there sync issues but not always.
It depends on you internet speed and location.

Take a look at BitTitan MigrationWiz for moving mailboxes and public folder, and BitTitan DeploymentPro for reconfiguring Outlook profiles without losing profile customizations.
