Hi Tommy,
A few ideas: (1) Exit Neat and uninstall prior versions. (2) Be sure to download the 64-bit package for the NM-1000. (3) Make sure the scanner is not connected to the computer when you install the software.
I follow all the instruction, delete the old folder and try to install it but it still nothing happen on next button.

Did you try a proper uninstall of the Neat software via Control Panel>Programs and Features first? If an install doesn't work after doing that, I suggest contacting Neat support: http://www.neat.com/support/contact-support/
But there is no folder or file or icon. how to i use it?

If you downloaded the correct version from the Neat site for your W7/64-bit system for the NM-1000, it should not be looking for the driver from Windows Update. Make sure you install the right package and make sure the scanner is not connected to the computer when you install the software. When the correct driver is properly installed, then connect the scanner, at which time Windows should recognize that the driver is installed and not go looking on Windows Update for it.

Good news finally it works. I have to click on the icon in the printer and other devices and it start working. Not bad in 25 bucks.
