I don't think it's appropriate to disable these - they aren't frequent and perhaps you could save a life.

If you insist, a simple google search found this:
http://www.howtogeek.com/232505/how-to-disable-emergency-alerts-on-your-smartphone/

From the above link:
First tap open the Settings and then tap “More”.

In the More section, tap on “Emergency broadcasts”.

Compared to iPhone, the Android settings go out of their way to give the user many more options for fine-tuning how they receive emergency alerts. Whereas the iPhone only comes with two options, on Android you can adjust alerts for extreme threats, severe threats, and AMBER alerts.

You can also choose whether to disable notifications, adjust how long alerts sound (2 to 10 seconds), turn on alert reminders, as well as whether your phone vibrates when it receives an alert.

Moving through the settings, you’ll see that you can have alert messages spoken to you using text-to-speech. If you live in an earthquake prone area or there’s a threat of tsunami, then you can have your phone send you ETWS or Earthquake Tsunami Warning System test broadcasts.

Scroll down - it's under Networks.  At least on my LG Android 6 phone.

Android is a highly customizeable system and there's no guarantee each implementation looks and works EXACTLY the same.  You may have to hunt and poke around for the setting as the odds that someone else will respond to this question AND have the exact same phone.

I do not have the exact same phone but did a quick google search and the findings are as follows:-

Goto Settings -> Tap Messages to configure settings -> Emergency alerts

Source: http://www.manualguru.com/samsung/sm-g920p-sprint/user-guide/page-348

Emergency alerts: Configure emergency alert settings.

You can enable or disable some alerts: Extreme Alert, Severe Alert, Amber Alert, and Emergency alert test messages.

You cannot disable Presidential alerts.

You can also choose to receive emergency alert test messages.

Important: The Commercial Mobile Alert System (CMAS) system provides the government the ability to send geographically targeted notifications of emergencies, such as threats to public safety, severe weather events, a hazardous material spill or a missing child in the phone user’s area.

Emergency notification preview: Play a sample emergency alert tone. Tap Stop to cancel the playback. •  Vibrate: Select vibration options for emergency message notifications.

Alert reminder Configure the reminder interval.
