We had a Trend Micro specialist in our company. We asked the same question and the answer was not to enable <b>Clean/Delete infected files within compressed files</b>. But you can enable it if you want, at own risk :-)<br />
If a compressed file is infected and get opened Trend Micro will detect it. So there is no reason to enable this option.

Thanks for your reply. The thing is, if this setting is not enabled the virus is never deleted, this is the reason why there are forces that would like to have this setting enabled. Do you have any public document that explains why TM does not recommend it ?<br />

The documentation says it increases cpu load and scanning times. Would love to know what other guys do in their systems. Is it safe to run ? Has it given you any problem ?<br />
