No matter what, you must have the master login and password for Dashlane or it won't ever work again.  The login shows and he has to enter the password every time he uses it.
Dashlane can also export its contents to a CSV file which can then be imported after it is reinstalled; but, I have found that the bulk of the data is online and gets restored to Dashlane the first time you run it and login.
You should be warned that Dashlane will send an authorization request the first time you run it and the email or number for a text must be accurate.  Check his account information by logging into his account before you wipe the PC!
