Creating a Custom Entity Similar to Opportunity - CRM 2011

Hi,

I need to create a Custom entity similar to Opportunity entity with all the relationships of the same.

Is there a easy way to copy an entity.

Hmm, interesting question. I think there isn't a simple way to do this. There is functionality built around opportunity which can't be copied.

You might be able to add opportunity to an unmanaged solution , export the solution and then "hack" the xml, zip it up and import the solution back. But personally I would create the new entity manually. It will take longer but I can be certain that it will work.
