vsphere 6.-0 limits

There are some old issues in vsphere around the total amount of open virtual disks that can be on a given host.

http://www.boche.net/blog/index.php/2012/09/12/monster-vms-esxi-heap-size-trouble-in-storage-paradise/

anyone know what the vsphere6 limits are?  Just curious as the storage for us just got a lot bigger.

Not seen any issues here, how many VMs and virtual machine disks do you have?

The article you have sited is 4 years old!

see this Vmware document

it's more if you have over 300tb of data and one or two host, so the compute in previous builds wouldn't open xyz without patch. i.e 8 or 24 or 64 at a time.. how much does 6.0 use for single host and update 2
