sftp & TLS 1.1 or higher

my client has sFTP site (e.g. 111.111.1111) with TLS 1.1 requirement. I just need to send a file. Does FileZilla work with those requirement?
When I tried, I can connect, but I can't read or write. My Client told me he already gave the read/write permission. Any ideas why?

Thanks

SFTP does not use TLS, they are two different encryption methods.  Filezilla will work fine with SFTP.  It will also work with FTPS, a different method that does use TLS.
