Hi K K,

Manifest file is a configuration file for Android project where developer can describe the app permissions. Here you will get all info about the Android app Permissions: https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/security/permissions.html

The four above you mention will use for respectively for Internet, Sending sms, receive sms and read contacts.

Let go for example of contacts, suppose you developing one app which accessing user contact list then you need to give this permission so your app will access the contact of user.
<uses-permission android:name=”android.permission.READ_CONTACTS” />

Open in new window

Similar way suppose your app is using internet service in your app then you need to give this permission to access internet in the app.
"<uses-permission android:name=”android.permission.INTERNET” />"

Open in new window

Similar you have to give below permission in your app when your app is sending/receiving sms.

<uses-permission android:name=”android.permission.SEND_SMS” />
<uses-permission android:name=”android.permission.RECIEVE_SMS” />

Open in new window

Thanks & Regards,
