I have created a plugin from a tutorial and it's allowing me to show the Short Description of a product in a Woo Commerce site on the Shop page.  Plugin code below.

<?php

 function tutsplus_excerpt_in_product_archives() {

    the_excerpt();

}

add_action( 'woocommerce_after_shop_loop_item_title', 'tutsplus_excerpt_in_product_archives', 10 );

Open in new window

How can I get it to show additional information on the shop page.  Ie. SKU # or Long Description or any other field?

As you're doing a tutorial, I am assuming you are trying to learn something, so I will try not to tell you how to do what you want to do, but rather point you to where you can find the information.

First off, make sure you understand "The Loop". Read that page to get context.

Once you understand that, you will be able to do almost anything on a WordPress page.
