Hi Experts,

We have the essentials plus package I ahave VCenter 6.0 up and running and I am at the stage of adding the vSphere vShield Endpoint 6.0 appliance and have downloaded the .OVF. I am reading now that you need NSX install with a distributed switch?

Does anyone have some past experience with i? Install etc

Thanks

Correct, Endpoint used to integrate with vCloud Networking and Security, but these features are now replaced with NSX, and use NSX Manager to perform administration and operations on vShield Endpoint.

see here

Partners used to offer, hooks so they could manage it up to 5.5

see here

Support for partner integrations with VMware vShield Endpoint and VMware vCloud Networking and Security (2105558)

So do you have a license for NSX ?
