Outlook 2016 not working with Exchange 2013

I have a Server 2012 R2 Standard server running with Exchange 2013 SP1.
I have an account with Microsoft Office 365 and use Outlook 2016 for email.
We were using Office 365/Outlook 2013 and I had no problems setting up our exchange email. We updated to Outlook 2016 and exchange still works and runs fine. I now have a new laptop that is joined to the domain and I am trying to set up Outlook 2016 for the first time and I can not get exchange email setup. Error message that I am getting:
Log onto Exchange Active Sync mail server (EAS) server cannot be found.
All of the laptops here that are running Outlook 2016 are having no issues at all with the exchange server. I am only having problems setting up a new laptop. Like I stated earlier all the other laptops were originally setup in Outlook 2013 and this is the first time that I am trying to setup in 2016. Thanks!

can you try to configure the outlook profile manually ?? on laptop can you logged in with user whose outlook is working fine ?

it might be laptop having some issues

Thanks,
Andy
This error message occurs because MS Outlook does not support connections to a server that is running Exchange Server by using the EAS protocol. To fix this issue, connect your Exchange Server by using the standard Exchange connection settings

Andy - I have tried to configure manually and it only gives you the option of Microsoft ActiveSync or POP/Imap and those are the only two choices now where before 2016 you have 3 or 4 choices. From everything I have read you have to have auto discovery on and then configure your exchange account automatically.
Marshalhubs - sorry but that article is no help at all.
Edwin - thanks for the link as that did help some. As far as I know my exchange server is running fine and I do not want to mess with settings as all the other accounts in the office are connected and working fine. What I ended up doing is just installing Outlook 2013, setup the exchange account, and then updated to Outlook 2016.
Outlook 2016 with this auto discovery crap sucks!!!!
