Outlook 2013 Search Issues

I have a numbers of users that have a shared mail box. All these users also have a personal mailbox where they are able to search in outlook for emails using the search function. but they are unable to search for emails on the shared mailbox. So I don't think it is an indexing issue on the PC's. Any idea what it could be?

Is the shared mailbox in a different database from the other users?

Could be an Exchange content indexing issue.
