Scan IP address, obtain info

I need some VBASCRIPT that will scan an IPv4 address in column A of an Excel Spreadsheet and output the mac-address in column b, the name of the device in column c, and whether it is IPv6 compliant in column D.

Assistance is greatly appreciated

You can only get MAC addresses on your local network segment from devices and computers you are directly connected to.  What does 'IPv6 compliant' mean?

That's a good question.  At least we need to know as much about what the device is as possible.

Whether it could be configured with an IPv6 address perhaps.

The FastResolver program on this page http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/fastresolver.html seems to do a good job.

I don't believe the IPv4 address can tell you anything about that.

Must be able to see source in order to run in our environment.

I think it is unlikely that Nir Soft will give you the source.  It is probably written in C++ and it includes a Code Signing Certificate to verify their identity.
