Sonicwall Web User login Redirect

I am getting a strange error when users login to the Sonicwall using NTLM Browser authentication.

The Login redirect page gives a file not found error with URL:

sonicwall.mydomain:78/dynPolloginRedirect.h

If I add the tml to the end manually I get taken straight to the login page as I should.

What could be truncating the URL?

And is there any way to stop it?

Hello,
Please try do this to be sur to define what could be the issue:

1)Can you try to do it from another browser to be sure
2)From another computer
3)Did you to reboot the router

What firmware version?
Early release or general one ?
Did you try the support ? what did they say ?

The firmware is 5.9.1 the latest. I haven't raised a support call as the unit is out of warranty and I don't have a support contract.

What firmwall model? What is the exact release i will tell you if it is an early or general .

and can you try to choose "redirect the browser to the appliance --> the interface ip address" like in the picture below
Choose IP
Then we will see if it is the same bug? or may be it will work like that for  you?

The Model is NSA240 and firmware 5.9.1.7-2o

The truncating doesn't happen when using the IP address.

However the signed certificate I use for management and users for logins is linked to the name not the ip address.

it's seems to be an early release i have tried once to use an early release in production and it was a disaster because of one smal bug.
For the domain try to use a name shorter like mydomain.sw may be it the solution.
Also i would have say to go and install a general release but you will have the risk to downgrade that it is not so good.

Thanks for your input, Saadia.. I was trying to avoid buying a new certificate but it looks I'll have to as the NSA240 is an 'end of life' product.
