Decommission Lync 2010 Hybrid Office 365

My organization has completed migration of all of our users to the cloud in our Lync 2010 hybrid environment with Office 365 using Azure for authentication and I now need to know the proper process for decommissioning the on prem Lync environment. What are the required steps?

The complete process is fairly complex, since Lync is heavily AD integrated. https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg195815(v=ocs.14).aspx has a detailed list of phases you have to go through for a complete removal, as well as some step-by-steps.
