Hi again. It appears that Divi does work with the all-in-one seo plugin. Hopefully it will continue to. I'll give you the points, as I could also have edited the html pages, &nbsp;and a big part of my question was how to do it without plugins.

Using Divi builder on the latest wordpress installation. Pretty surprised that I can't do this. I did find the home page one in Divi theme options, so the home page has a meta description.<br />
