windows 10 audio video and mouse
I work in IT at server level so I know my way round systems, but I have this really annoying issue:
The audio is really choppy and the mouse pointer constantly looks as if it is active - it also sticks when hovering over icons or if a program is opening
The audio and mouse are ok after a fresh startup
The issue gets worse after the laptop has been on a few days
Obviously there is a process or processes which are affecting the audio / graphics
One other thing - streaming audio or video from this laptop using a small server locally installed gives audio and video which are smooth, so it is a local issue causing this
The laptop is a powerful Dell 680 24 bg RAM and 8 processors
Taskmanager shows the RAM is at 50% and cpu 25%
Can anyone suggest how I can track down what is doing this
I have tried all the obvious tasks - process monitor, process explorer, taskmanager, malwarebytes scan, ccleaner scan, updated graphics driver and Audio, checked mouse settings

It will be impossible to stop and start each service on a reboot - will take weeks

Stopping services - I have a lot running. Any suggestions as to which ones may be causing the issue? This is why I was wondering if there is any specific software utility to point this out to me, apart from taskmgr and process explorer / monitor
There were no %High Use% services / processes
There are a number of processes and services running and handles being utilised, but nothing that is obviously compromising the system
laptop never gets hot the the fan is always on very low except when there is a scan - even then it is only minimal
I have already blown out the dust from the vents - this certainly made a difference re. fan useage but was done months ago

managed to find the culprit:
Trend Titanium Plus antivirus was causing the problem
As soon as I uninstalled it the system was working like new
