How can I find out, which application is consuming more cpu memory on the windows 2oo8 server?
because my server is in hung state and cpu utilization is showing 100%

Look in task manager under processes tab.

I will also recommend to replace Task Manager with Process Explorer.

In addition, you can also run Resource Monitor (Windows Admin Tools), set the tab to what you want to monitor and let it run for 30 to 60 minutes. See what it tells you.

you can also select performance tab - then resource monitor, and check on cpu, ram or disk
