If you look in the console (in developer tools in your browser), there's an error:
js?sensor=false&ver=4.6.1:34 Google Maps API error: MissingKeyMapError https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#missing-key-map-error_.kb @ js?sensor=false&ver=4.6.1:34

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

It's only a recent requirement from Google, so only some plugins and themes have incorporated the need for an API key into their settings. With any luck, you find a field for the API key in the settings for whatever plugin/theme is generating the map.

If there's no setting for it, you may need to use a different plugin, or edit the javascript code used by the plugin for connecting to google. Editing plugins requires technical knowledge, and if the plugin gets updated (automatically or manually) then your changes are lost, so editing code isn't a great option unless you really know what you're doing.

Thanks all but I ended up just using a plugin to allow me to enter in the new API
