Duplicate Detection - CRM 2011

Hi,

I have numerous amounts of accounts with similar names created for which almost 90% of the characters are same in the account name. Is there a way in CRM i can run a duplication job to match certain amount of characters in the Account name.

Please advice.

You can match fields in three ways:

  1. Exact Match
  2. Same First Characters - specify number of characters to match
  3. Same Last Characters - specify number of characters to match

What you can't do is match on the same number of characters regardless of whether they are at the beginning or the end.
