Head out to https://192.169.138.143/~bruceg/album_view.php?album_name=Alumni#!prettyPhoto

You'll notice that the alignment of the page is off. The only thing I can find that's "wrong" is the fact that I'm missing several images.

Off the cuff, I'm thinking that may be due to the fact that I'm running from my cpanel, hence the https dynamic in my URL.

The images that are supposedly missing are, in fact, there. They exist in the specified directories, but they're not showing up on the page.

Is that because of the https: as opposed to an http?

What do you think?

Compare that page to https://www.countryshowdown.com/album_view.php?album_name=Alumni

The site uses tables for layout, which is a well outdated technique for web development. The primary reason why it's not preferred any more is probably the issues one tends to have with layout like you're having now.

The first cell of the table in the header has a 54px wide spacer image, but the cell is 66px wide. When I force the cell width to be 54px, it breaks other things.

I'd like to help further, but I just can't justify time spent with no income on old techniques, sorry, as there's no learning value in it for me. Perhaps adding the project to Gigs would get further help, or there might be others who are willing to spend time on it.

Hey, Terry!

You're right, it is an antiquated approach but it does work for now. The problem was the missing images and the errors that were generated. Once I got that fixed, things lined up the way you would expect.

Thanks for your time!
