if the .wav file will not play using VLC or Windows Media Player, it is surely a problem with the file.<br />

iTunes also plays .wav files if you really want to try another app...

Thanks for the response no luck and there is no issue on wav file and I send it to HQ and they can play the file without any issue.<br />

WAV is a proprietary codec for Microsoft files <br />
Make WMP default player <br />
Click on the Window button where the start button used to be, select Settings, select System, select Default Apps, skip to the next and go to the bottom and select Choose default apps by file type, find your file type and change it to Windows Media Player. <br />

if your VLC is not playing it nor windows media player please update your media players or include wav in files types with WMP<br />
Which version of Windows 10 do you have?<br />
Pro home basic or some other?
